Just got back from Sierra, and I'm soaked. But I was skiing in West Bowl, which is kinda low. Despite this, it's total blower in the trees and our tracks were getting filled in on every run. I skied the trees like I never have before. Killer day.

There's 9 inches outside the house in South Lake and it's puking fluff even harder right now. Tomorrow is going to go OFFFFF!!!!!

yeah me too....no way I can get out of obligations tomorrow.

have fun at the Heave L.....I'm a believer in the trees of that place after my tour there on Saturday. Though technically OB....the treed area between firebreak trail and the gondi line freakin rocks. Finally made it into Mott and Killebrew canyons too...really fun stuff in there.

Actually, I didn't go exploring today. I stuck to what I knew since visibility wasn't so great and time was a factor. As it turned out we didn't ski for very long. We got a bunch of laps, but were completely soaked. My clothes hadn't soaked through, but I was close. Her pants were completely drenched and she started shivering very badly. For some damn reason it was really good though.

I really love that place now, so I'm definitely going back there soon. I wish we had stayed higher, but it must have been brutal up there judging from how it was down below. I'm not even sure if the top was open. Stashes are noted for future reference, and I'll be sure to track them out for you.

Just drove back through the remnants of the storm in Nevada and CA. It's puking. People down (jet) stream are going to be happy.

Pretty damm good today. 1-1.5' new at Alpine althought it was a little heavier than I thought it was going to be. Some serious slab activity going on too so be careful in the bc.
Obviously took it really careful coming off the back injury but there was no pain, just some weakness and stiffness. Not gonna be 100% for a while but at least I can say...
