    ?s about Ibex Softshell (Neve/Pingo)

Does anyone own the Ibex Neve or Pingo? There are some good prices on them out there and a friend of mine is looking at a softshell. Due to some misplaced hippy-isms she's convinced that she wants wool. I know the Cloudveil Serendipity gets rave reviews here, and that's the direction I've been pushing her.

Does anyone have one of these? How has it worked? Are they pretty wind/water repellant? I cannot figure out which one is more suited for all around use (day to day plus skiing/biking).

I've got a Neve and it's been great. I've also got a Serendipity and I'd say offhand that the Neve is better, a bit thicker and more wind resistant. The Serendipity is breathes a little better.

I'm in WA/PNW and it's held up really well, beading up snowfall.
