    PSA: AK Rocket Lab Swallowtail

    $330 on SAC, this morning.

Too big for me, but I'm sure someone will dig 'em.

Unless I get a follow-up email saying they are sold out, then yes.

Now sell your Maiden AKs. You won't want to ski them in pow ever again.

Plus, Dr.. Jim, that swallowtail will look so good with your "kilt."

I passed because I cannot see making tele turns in 195s with that much girth.

The Maden's are too cool to sell and they match my skirt; and I'm supposed to pick up 189 Pontoons next weekend. Sheesh......I hope this isn't a jinx.

BTW Pope Benedict, good call: the 2nd gen AK Rockets elegantly will match my skirt. Woo-hooo! I mean my kilt.

^^^^ditto. While I never liked the orange topsheet much, this purple one does leave something to be desired.

edit: did we ever decide on which year and mounting point this one was? the forward mounting or the newer one farther back?

I'm digging the black-purple much more than the previous orange.

Didn't you get the memo? Read this: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...?t=4324&page=3

That light blue line way forward kind of threw me. But the short center mount line in back of that divot is where I'm mounting. Comparing them to other skis, that leaves a lot of platform out front and looks to be right where I'd want to stand. BTW, nice lightweight on these.

Purple stripes are where its at. Matches my pimp'in evening suit
