Oh man...the Doobie Brothers broke up...
Too bad their skis didn't have more sidecut. They prolly would have done better.![]()
What will all the moniteurs with their snappy red jackets ski now?

Yeah, get off my god-damned lawn, too.
Damn, I've got a buddy who's spancered by Zag. Wonder what he's gonna do now...
I'm sure the French government will bail them out. Maybe they need more mandatory vacation days.
So, when's the liquidation sale? (Yes, in come the vultures)

People still ski?
You know that ski shop I've been hooking you guys up with. They have a shitload of Zags in stock. golds, 84s, and stuff. I bet the price will hit rock bottom now since if Zag is out of business there is no warranty protection.
He'll probably have to ride on skis that don't suck now. poor guy.Originally Posted by Storm11

Damn, Dude that sucks!!!
I actually liked the Zag's While they diffenetly where not everyone's cup of tee, and they differently required some changes to your style to get them to rip, they where an awesome Pow ski, especially for some of the super narrow steep spine lines like we have at baker.
If they are out of business... I think they get around 12 months under French law to resolve their problems assuming they can still trade day to day. Last year they had 181 Keuros profit on a turnover of 618 Keuros which seems healthy. I figure they must have sold around 1500-2000 skis. Odd they now have to file for protection from creditors.Originally Posted by TJ.Brk

happy for davidof ankle, sad for stephane (zag)
Indeed, it doesn't necessarely means ZAG's running out of business.
According to the (few) info, it looks like a classic cashflow issue (what 'cessation de paiement' means : they can't pay their creditors with the avalaible cash). Not unusual for a fast growing company, on a seasonal market. (which produce in summer but sells on winter). If they had huge warrranty costs with 'Le Rouge' model, I can see how they're bankrupt and profitable at the same time.
They will spent the winter season protected from their creditors.
