Has anyone skied both of these? I skied the 183 last year and was wondering if this years are skiing shorter? Everyone says that they ski short. Input appreciated, thanks.

A volkl rep told me I should go one size down on this year's Gotamas because they are stiffer and have more sidecut than last year. I was looking for a 184 and he strongly recommended 176 for an EC tree/pow ski.
