Testing Water: May WTT Armada Ants

Yeah i have 05-06 Armada Ants brand new still in plastic, i got them off ebay actually just tonight, but i reolized that i am not made of money and it doesnt seem like i can afford another set of boards so i think that im going to want something more all around with a mid-soft flex just as a one ski quiver. Maybe Jp vs. Juliens or Made'n Aks? Suggest something else? Good for all around skiing pow, crud trees.

ANTs are actually a great choice for a one-ski quiv.
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.

Yeah, i actually think i'm going to mount these up for myself. I just went to the docs and it seems i weigh quite a bit more than i thought. Worst comes to worst I can sell the set-up as a whole and buy something more forgiving if they give me too much of a hard time for an everyday ski

Mount them at -9cm from true center and make sure to measure both skis.

X2 -- follow this advice exactly. If you are bringing them to a shop to get bindings mounted, measure and mark the center line that you want YOURSELF, before bringing them to the shop.

The center line on my last-years-ANTs did not match between the skis; one was off from the other by around 1/4".

I would stay away from JP Juliens for a one-ski quiver. I have them, they are great for powder days for me. I'm 140lbs and they charge fast through crud and bumps real good for me. Float too... lots of fun in powder. However get them on a hardpack/groomer or park and there are much better choices out there. they just want to go straight, no sidecut. my 2 cents.
