    Uintas climbing 9/10

I saw my first fresh snow of the season back on 9-10 in the Uintas. We had to retreat to a cave route called Sessions (12a). Everyone threw down, despite the rain/snow flurries.

    Tim

    Kelly

It cleared in the evening, probably the last time I'll see the Uintas like this until next summer...

    Nice pics G.

Maybe in the future, you should bring a sneaky red shirt along for your subjects.

Nice pics. Really like the hanging clouds in the background on the first one.
Is the second one (Tim) Tim Alexander by any chance. Looks like him, but couldn't tell for sure. He is a super cool guy.

    Yep, Tim Alexander

By "threw down", I didn't mean to imply that I sent it, cause I didn't. Fred did though, 4 times. But he helped establish it back in '95, so he has some experience on it.

This board is full of people who jump off cliffs. Climbing them is tame by comparison. Moreso when there's a bolt every three friggin' feet.

Great photos, Gramps. I need to climb more.

And here I thought it was a nut every three feet. So much for innuendo.
