    Chocolate Freeride News

    THE BEGINNING

    SUCCESS FOR THE 2006 SEASON

Every great experience has to start somewhere. This winter Chocolate Freeride Productions ran their first series of Freeskiing camps. We succeeded in bringing people together to have great adventures in the mountains. The next step is to utilize and bring together our outstanding expertise and take this whole idea to a new level.

Our first week was awesome because we experienced it all. We skied every type of terrain and conditions. We learned invaluable knowledge about traveling through the Alps and about working together to achieve a goal. We were challenged and we were thrilled. Every day, we ate delicious and healthy food. And most of all we had fun every step of the way.

The goal of the second week was to focus on the overall success of the first. As always, when one centers on the positive everything goes smoothly. The second week we were joined by a solid crew of skiers but the biggest inspiration was the one member who was definitely the weakest of the bunch. He fell, he battled, he sweat... but he never complained once. He just kept getting up and doing it again. He was so stoked to be out there and his constant good mood was contagious to all.

Jesse Cohen, the catalyst behind all that is Chocolate and Freeride, wants to carry that attitude over into next season. By bringing together his organizational and decision-making skills with Phil Meier’s creativity and boundless energy, we will offer even more weeks and possibilities.

With the resounding accomplishment of the camps, Phil Meier is excited to do more. Phil has traveled the world on Freeride missions and he wants to offer those trips to everyone willing to take on the challenge of exotic locales. We will be offering people the chance to travel with Meier to places like the Himalayan Alps, Japan and anywhere that offers the chance to ski virgin powder.

What differentiates us from others is the ability to put together incredible adventures and tap into the underground scene of freeriding. We want to blend originality with professionalism creating unique and life altering experiences that make you hoot and holler as you glide along with other like minded individuals.

Living, to us, is simple. We go outside and enjoy what mother earth laid out in front of (and below) us. With a bar of chocolate freeride in hand we know you will feel the same way. Let us share the different flavors of Freeride with you.

    Weird shit here.

I was just searching for "chocolate news" a/k/a "inside David Allen Griers Brain" and this is all I found.

This, and a thread about Butt Facials. But that was in the locked archives and I couldn't bump that one.

Oh well, Dear Diary, David Allen Greer makes me laugh. A lot.
    Hugs.
    And Chocolate.
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

*This week is all about the search for epic and SAFE freeriding that means we will remain fluid and decisions will be based on the forecast.
*Note: reckless skiing will not be tolerated.
