Keep or flip Atomic Deep Powders?

I have these Atomic Deep Powders that I bought last spring with two previous mounts(can't use either mount). Skis are in good shape but I can't decide if I want to keep them or flip them for something newer. What say ye?

These are the only pair I have over 100mm underfoot. I have three pairs in the 90-95 range (I plan on selling at least one of these too) but I'd like to keep one in the quiver for the truly epic days. How does the Deep powders stack up to say a Gotama, Blowers, Big Stix 106 or the I.M.103, generally the newer fat skis with some remaining shape?

Me 175Ibs. 5'8", former PSIA instructor but I've waited tables at resorts too. Older now and I can afford more than one pair but I'll likely buy used simply because I tend to damage skis trying to stitch out the last bit of good snow But not rich enough to walk down to the local shop and order up the latest and greatest (or simply to cheap ).

just keep em, apparently they're delamtastic on firm snow, but if you have 95mm skis for everday and keep these for deep days then no problem. You probably won't get much for them here because of their delam reputation. but you never know on ebay.

I'm assuming you meant you'd like to see my W-2? Just trying to say I could sell these and use it towards some others and I could probably scrounge up the additional funding to make up the difference. There's a set on the one website going for a fair amount of money. Mntlion had some earlier this year for $250.

Davep, yes I've read they have delamination issues on hard snow. Actually, I've only read about one person and everyone else refers to that posting. But anyways, yes, fresh snow skis only. Maybe a dozen days a year in a good year.

nevermind, it was a terribly executed comment about how we don't need to know your personal cost-benefit analysis. carry on.

edit: to change things up and post in a helpful way, the recommended skis thread doesn't specifically mention deep powders. It does mention heli star, powder ride, and powder cruise. but yeah, you have 95 waisted skis for hard snow.

Ski = good. Durability = questionable. Ski em in whatever conditions you usually do and see if they work for you. Not worth a whole lot so why not give em a try....I'd say they will last a full season for sure unless you are very abusive....
