    Cool. Must be a bitch to wheelie though.

    When I lived in NH and we had frozen lakes I'd make my own studded tires. This was back in 1988 and they didn't really have pre-made studs yet. I'd take a bunch of 1/2" panhead screws and drive them into the tire from the inside out, making sure they came out through a nobbie. Then I'd cut the bead off a slick tire and use it as a liner. It was super heavy, but worked great. I could ride on the smoothest ice and stay upright. Only problem was they picked up tons of leaves if you were trail riding and there wasn't enough snow or the snow wasn't packed down enough. The slednecks used to be really surprised to see me sometimes.

    I agree with AKA... Even without the stupid ski on the front, why the hell would you put a tripple clamp on a tandem?

    Looks like you could move the fork up to a higher hole pattern. Get a normal bike and some ape hangers, jack up the front as high is it goes, and it might be fun when the roads are packed with snow. And really sketchy, too.
