    New Sled Stoke!

Well, it's not as sweet as Funken's new sled, but I think it's titties. '97 700 RMK with less than 1400 miles. Can't wait for winter. Sled + BDs w/ NX-21s = Fuck Yeah!

Nice mileage, yo. Looks like the bars are already raised, no? Which is good. Maybe put a powder strap on the bars....and you are golden.

The sled and I are tahoe bound for winter, but I'd love to make it to the Rubies. I think there's been mention somewhere of a Ruby Sledneck Summit. We should make that happen.

fug ya, ^^^ now your talkin

make sure it has all the '06 updates (fuel pump update cost $500+ and is required to run smooth)

otherwise these things are pretty much unstopable.

also before you start it make sure the fuel has been summerized the EFI is pretty sensative to old/watered fuel. ( I learned the hard way )

That thing IS a beast. I've got the 800 and 600 in 144's. That 1000 is a crazy sled, I've eyed them but I don't know that I have the balls to ride that sum' a bitch.

Congrats Big Blue on your purchase. You'll love the sleddin'.

thats a good sled to start with but i personally wouldnt spend to much on it. Your going to want to get a sled with a newer chassis or however you spell it. The rider forward is so much nicer like a REV but they all have them more or less now. I have found i Can do all the riding i want on a freestyle sled like a MXZ or MXZ renegade is a good all around.I really like Ski-doo as you can see. You can handle deep powder just fine witha short track if you know how to handle it plus there way nicer in the air. But yeah that 700 has a lot of balls it will be fun.

Thanks AKTAB. I'll make sure it's updated. As long as I can keep that pig un-stuck (I'll consider this the "toll fee" for riders ) should be a blast. Lookin' at putting a different seat and can on it and ditching the sway bar to shave some weight.

I just bought an 50 1000 also, this thing is gonna totally rip. only 200 miles on it, all updates are done, simmons skis, fly bars, after market can, clutch kit, high compression domes, i was also thinking of taking off the sway bar, but think i'll waite till i ride it, read that one guy cut his off and then bought a new one to put back in, because the front end kept diving on him.

I'm in for a Ruby sledneck summit, theres a big section in Boondockers 3 in Elko and the terrain is unreal.

Obviously I'd be down for that. But i'd be on the rope tow since I'm sled-less.

ya deffinitely get a can, the seat is fine and not really that much of a weight issue, also the sway bars dont make to much of a differance on the rev and are pretty nice on the long sketchy icy approaches. Really those sleds are such friggin beasts anyway, you can hardly feel 10-20 pounds either way especially if your doubling much. oh also I just picked up some more hood fastners (the stretchie rubber ones) they do a lot better job of keeping your hood on after the second roll.
