Spoke with Neil at Alpenglow yesterday and gave him all the info. He is gonna meet with some other people within the company and see if they can hook us up. I am leaving for Michigan.....potential opening day at Loveland and I will be in Detroit?!.....on Thursday morning so I probably won't know until Monday or so.

Thanks, Greg, for your time/effort on this. No rush at all as far as I'm concerned...I'm still waiting on my bros!

Greg thanks for the efforts. If that company doesn't fly, TP is always there, no?

My concern is that the option of wide brakes for no additional charge (which is what really makes this deal) may go away the more time passes. That's at least a $50 value on the Fritschis, and I don't know of anyone else who swaps them out for free any more.

Does anyone know if the other group buy got their order? Did they get the wide brakes as promised?

    Curious...

Greguar -- really appreciate the work you are doing and know that you are busy. Would it not be easier on you/less trouble to just place the online order and be done with it rather than having to check all sources? You're already doing a big service, so the extra effort (particularly when you are busy and traveling) just seems to take up time you don't have.

Funny you should ask . . . I tracked down this thread because I just got done sending the last of the emails and wanted to post an update. We got the order and as soon as I get payment I will start sending them out.

Yes UAN we got wide brakes on all bindings as promised (at no extra charge).

Also just FYI the final prices ended up being a little bit better than 10% off for the comforts and worse (more expensive) than 10% for the old freerides (not plus). It wasn't a big difference but kinda interesting.

edit to say: we got wide brakes on all bindings that included brakes which was everything minus the TLT speed.
Now watch me become what I can become.

you mean the comforts turned out to be 10% less than the price you were originally quoted...not 10% off the retail, right?

what was the final cost of the comforts (w/ or w/o brakes) and FR+?

    thanks!

Are there any folks either currently in on the AT group buy in CO that would prefer to order by monday (vs. wait for a potential deal from a local shop that may or may not materialize)? Is there anyone who did not get in on any of the buys that wants to get in on this one?

If there is enough interest, I'm thinkking of doing a fast order. See this thread for details and to indicate your interest.

I think there might be a market for people who want to order quickly so they're mounted when the snow starts flying. The first group buy already has their bindings in-hand.

We will move pretty quickly; I'd plan to place the order no later than Monday.

    Bindings arrived yesterday.
Unfortunately, they're now at the post office because I wasnt home to sign for them.
Going to pick them up today after work.

To other folks doing group buys, it took almost exactly 1 month to get the bindings from the Order date. Take note we had a slight ~week delay for some wide brakes.

edit: I couldnt wait till after work to pick them up. I freaking HATE the post office, but this made it worthwhile. Powdercow is the man! Definitely Maggot of the Month for Oct. UAN might have you beat in November though with his group buy.
