    Maggot Awards?

    I know I can always count on a chuckle if not a gut-bursting snortle whenever I log onto the mighty TGR board.

    After reading another subdued yet funny response, "Dude it's an important paragraph, he was just trying to reinforce it, don't hate" (this time from Iceman) in the thread about the Anomoly premiere regarding the Powder Website's editing prowess- I thought about how it might be cool to reward those who make this board so funny with an "Oscaresque" reward-at least in spirit.

    Funny dudes like Irul&Ublo, Phunk, bad_roo, Iceman, etc. could get recognized for what they do for us. Guys like Skier666, Iskibc, Trackhead, etc., etc. could get recognized for their TR efforts, and there could be a lot of other cool categories.

    It was just a quick thought that entered my mind, and maybe it's too corny, and maybe it would be a bitch to put together(I'm not volunteering), but if someone had the time to put it together I'd definitely vote and put forth a prize in at least one if not several categories.

    they used to (or still do?) a yearly awards on mtbr. it was always a pretty fun and interesting post-season thread(s). i say go for it.

    mtbr did it by email, but i think using the forums voting options might be a better idea. that way all the aliases can participate as well.
