Does anyone know the shell difference between the Flexon Pro T and the Flexon T? Don't care about the liners or power strap, just the shell.

I think the difference is that in one (the pro) there's an extra plastic cuff in the back that provides a very slightly stiffer flex.
I was worried that the ones I got which didn't have it would be too soft, but that hasn't been an issue.

you can rivit the shell of any of them to make the boot stiffer too.
whoa whoa whoa. Really? You've been holding out on us, man! Or maybe I just haven't been paying attentionOriginally Posted by mntlion
But seriously, where and how?
on the lower shell, in the back, the 2 sides fold into the middle as the boot flexes (the gap get smaller)
just drill some small holes thru both the upper and the lower shells, and add soem T nuts, This stops the shell from moving as much and stiffens the boots a lot. The high the holes the stiffer it willl be. I've made JR raichles very stiff this way.
