Aspen on the cheap

Hi,

Will be going to Aspen next week for 2-3 days. Is there any cheap accomodation available anywhere (I was spoiled by the 29$ Motel 6 in Jackson!!!).

I don't mind driving up to an hour since I'll only be there a couple days.

Days Inn in carbondale is $52 a night and has continental breakfast and pool, hot tub etc. About 35-45 minute drive to the ski areas.

comfort inn is right next to days inn in carbondale and is also a decent place.

There's a youth hostel in Glenwood Springs (about a 45 min. drive north of Aspen). In town, St. Moritz is probably your cheapest.
