Maybe some people are lonely. Who cares. The plates on my car cost $1700 the first year. Not a flex, just a math thing.
If for an extra $50 they could say what I want why not?

    Lamest personalized license plates

Why the hate for using your license plate to say something.
Here in Colorado, if you buy a new car, there's a pretty good chance its most expensive accessory will be the license plates. Why not have fun with it?
Trying to interpret plates is interesting and helps the commute pass by.
Some are stupid, some are clever, but I don't get the hate.
I believe this is where you kids say, peace out.

What do your vanity plates say?

    fact.
I don't think my plate requires explanation, at least to people who are interested in cars, but you can't post a picture without adding some words.
    Also fact.
Either way, not feeling particularly lame about the whole thing.

Plates aside, that's a fun car. The 50th roundel works with the paint and M3 badge.

Thank you, it has an amazing range of capabilities. And as a hybrid it can burn both gasoline and rubber.

The irony of BMW Star tires: they cost more, and you're gonna replace them more often!

Yes, true that. It's looking like the summer tires are going to last 16,000 miles, maybe a little more.
It depends on how much exercise you give them.
I don't really know there are many appropriate tires would hold up much better on this car. But I didn't buy it for tire wear or insurance premiums.
It has other attributes that are quite appealing.
Let's get back to ripping on personal license plates.
    Nothing more to see here.

Another courtesy of the spy algo.

So I kinda remember when the AG1NA veteran plate went viral that people thought it might have been real, but this one can't be.

So. That's actually sorta cool. Many people won't even immediately recognize it as a vanity plate. It is stealth. It has personal meaning. It's not some head scratcher or total tool plate.

Thank you. As a non Dentist, to use the vernacular, the M3 was a dream purchase for me. So, it seemed alright to have plates that make it mine. Just not in the front.

A two-fer of cars I didn't know whether to post here or in V.I.S.I.T.

Walking down the street, I came on this 1986 Silver Spur. There was a for sale sign on the back, they're asking $37k. I should take it for a test drive -- obviously I'd only be interested if the plates come with the car.

Then the next block down I spotted this classic, must be the daily driver.

Both of them looked really good. Hard to believe they're street parked all the time.
