    07 Gotoma Mounting question

So i picked up a pair at Bobo's in reno. They are mounting them for me before shipping them out to the shitwest. ( I dont trust anyone here).

    My questions are:

Are the mounting points indicated the same as previous years? I did find this thread.

Do the marks on the topsheets match the sidewalls now?

If they are the same, I am considering a mount on the factory line, the "I". I am 6'3", 230 lbs and on a tgr scale of gnar I'd say i'm intermediate. These skis will see 90% powder. I am too old and fat to fuck around in the park, and I missed out on the hucking movement (stupid career stole my youth).

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would trust the sidewalls over the topsheets. I think there's a thread around here about how to measure chord center too.

I've mounted my last 3 pairs of Gotamas on the 'I' and couldn't be happier. Granted the 07s are slightly different. I'm a svelte 225 also.

Always go with the sidewalls over the topsheets.

The sidewall marks are measured after the ski is produced, so they are accurate. The topsheets marks are on the topsheet before they ever go into the mold, so there is room for variability there.
