    18" new at Whistler

While Team Powder Maggots had their race night cancelled due to torrential rain and 90 mph wind gusts at Alpental, Whistler reported 18" of new snow in the last 24 hours!

Things are better here in Washington now with much lower snow levels, though. Who's heading out this weekend and where to? I'm thinking Stevens on Sunday.

17" New at Baker; 13" New at Crystal with upper mtn. closed all day today and pounding at both places....hmmnnn....such decisions to make!

Probably off to Crustal tomorrow morning for the first chair up Chinook. If it keeps pounding, Alp on Sunday and Tuesday? But Baker... now that is damn tempting.

just got back from spending the weekend up @ whistler.. while ive never seen lines on the peak chair (it was backed up all the way to the t-bar).. waterfalls were going off.. everyone was hucking and the snow was super light. i ended up just doing laps all day on the peak.. skiied fresh until the lift stopped. sooooo good.

Ended up with the wise choice of Baker. Crowds were manageable for Saturday- but non-existant for Sunday
