St. Anton is the patron saint of red pants and being a pussy. He is definitely doable on a budget.

Stay at San Antonio on Nassereinstr. Ski down to the gondola. They have excellent italian food/pizza. Sandra and Zeppl (the owners) great people, and he rips.
Make sure that you ski from the top of Valluga II down into Zuers/Lech.

Depends on your budget, but ya, its doable on a budget. Great place. When you going?

Schindler, Is that the place with the kegel bowling? If so, I agree, good place.

Looking forward to our return in January.

Definately do the tour between St Anton, Lech/Zurs,Stuben .The Rendle is great for when the Euros come out on a blue bird after a storm.Moosewirt is a must, you'll hear that song & see plenty of folks dancing in their rear entry boots & fart bags. I played at the Underground, you can't miss it,it's the live music place with a bar up & one down. Lots of hot euro girls ,the Scandinavian contingent is particarly breath-taking.On a good night, they will flash their ta-tas sooner or later as the evening wears on .Goulash=good.They take their sledding seriously & have a lighted course on the mountain for drunken reveling.

It was, but last year they took it out for more apartments. Bad move, IMHO. I only mention the place, because the owners are hard working, top draw peeps, who also rip.
