    Tubeless conversion complete.

Just finished the tubeless conversion. Followed the directions (posted here before) on NSMB. Overall pretty painless. My front tire (Maxxis Ignitor) went on with just a floor pump. Rear tire (Geax Sturdy) was more of a headache. Took a few minutes of futzing with it even using a compressor. But the bead finally seated and it's now holding air. I rode around my neighborhood for ten minutes at 60 psi or so. Will lower to ?? for a ride this evening. What's a good pressure to use here? I'm 205-210, riding a full suspension rig. I'll report again after the ride.

Keep it relatively aired up for your first ride. Say 50+.

As for after that, go as low as you feel comfortable. I normally ride around 32 psi. Some people even get down to the mid to low 20s. Basically you want it low enough to provide good traction, but not too low so that you burp air a lot or roll off the bead.

Keep in mind that lower air also makes for less efficient climbing too.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll try 32 for the second ride and go from there.

Just got back from the first ride. Obviously a little rough due to the high pressure, but everything held well. I'm looking forward to the next ride with ~30 psi. Been riding at 45 or so with tubes to avoid pinch flats, so it will be nice to be able to drop that.
