Thumbs up Trip Report - ALL THINGS SNOW - Winterfall #3

Welcome to my WinterFall Delayed Stoke series!

I’ve been saving stoke for the dry times of summer. I have enough TRs to bring you fresh unseen winter stoke every Monday until the lifts start turning again. Why? Because we all need and want stoke this time of year! It is because I love the Maggots (and because I’m lazy).

January through March, 2006 PHOTO COMPENDIUM

Mr. Moose, Blurred, SheRa, Evil E, Telekoptero, A-Basin Freeride, Some Guy, FIRE, Summit

The sever is still down. I am still stupidly busy. Here are a bunch of backlogged pictures from days that didn’t have enough images for their very own TR.

    Mega Front (A-Basin Freeride Team)

    Blurred enjoying the January Pow

    SheRa, Princess of Big Air

    Evil E

    Evil F… F for Fly!

    Telekopgnaro

    Hi Mr. Moose!

    Bye, Mr. Moose

I realized that Moose are really really really really big. I don’t every want to mess with a moose. And that was just a girl moose.

Yea those are my sweet turns… also Blurred is skiing

    Keystone Fireworks (from my deck!)

    SheRa Pow

END. Now it’s time for CRASH OF THE THREAD! Courtesy of the A-Basin Freeride Team:

    The snow…

    … it is too gnar…

I hope everyone enjoyed that. More fun to cool down your summer. All I can think about right now is fresh snow… and dead people…

Next week: THE DEEPEST DAY (?????????????????????????????????)

Unless I feel like putting up more stoke earlier than that… like this:

Mondays just got a bit better!

    Thanks for the stoke Summit!
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.

Very nice. Won't be long now.

The photo of the fireworks makes me look forward to moving over the hill next year, too.

Heh. Getting a preview yesterday was sweeet. Thanks for that.

And thanks for posting. Great selection! From what we saw yesterday, it's much harder to select which to post than to actually post them.

    FKNA, Summit.

And LB: I saw a couple. It's worth the wait.

I think maybe so. Skiing out of my hucks was my single biggest goal last year and I really improved a lot. I just couldn't stand the look of shame on Brett's face when I would beater (even inside the fullface). If that was the day we hit the big rock with the A Basin team, then I can tell you those boys beatered on a very large scale. They freaking launched it as big as it would go though, inverted too.

Dang, I wasn't even supposed to wear those pants off the clock (as you know perfectly well). They were so bomber and warm though. And I got credited when I turned them in.

Hope to see you back at River Run this year.

Attacking the stoke so anonymously that there isn't even an alias for the board to see... about as cowardly and childish as you can get. heh
