Is any body doing this? I can't find much with a search. I know they are heavy, but how heavy?. The bindings on my pair are getting weak, so I was thinking about changing to a AT binding. 180cm Pow+, 5'10". 175lb. thanks for all the brilliant imput![]()

wouldn't recomend it as a full on AT setup
I just weighed my Pow Plus 957 combo on the bathroom scale and its @ 20 lbs before adding in boots. Not only is the Pow Plus heavy, I don't think you could actually drive it with an AT boot and binding. It might be a decent lift serve backcountry rig with a lighter alpine binding like a Mojo 15 and trekkers. But you're really gonna feel it if you're planning on going uphill at all. Your results may vary but I think there are much better choices for big AT setups
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
Thanks for the info, that's why I asked.
if you want to go AT on those skis, ski them with real alpine boots and naxo nx21's. you'll be stoked.
anything else = no stoke
a ski lke that is worht it for the DH, as long as you can drive it, like laseranimal said
