I really like that first one! Nice shots all around

I still don't understand how they can get billboards to go around a track that fast

Money as usual Astro. You should come visit my town for this in November. Long way to come, and your snow season should be starting up, but I'm imagining you could get some pretty cool action shots.

    nice details,
more paning, less stop-action for me imo
looks like all the cars are just parked on the track when you are at 1/1000
thx for sharing, looking forward to some snowy pix

I'm not sure which one you think is the crew chief.

If you mean the CompUSA guy, he looks like the fuel back up guy. he's also wearing knee pads.
full pit gear not uncommon- i'm actually really surprised that none of the teams are wearing them - most high level series have made it mandatory.

if you were thinking the guy in this pic, he's the driver.

    Great pics, AstroPax

Funny though, it appears as if he's not wearing a balaclava under the helmet.

Thanks. I think next year I'll shoot about 50% in the pits. Need to put that $1000 fire suit to good use
