Cool Video: 2005/2006 Season Review Part 1

Here is Part 1 of my 2005/2006 Season Review Video

It’s nothing very groundbreaking for me, just the normal music-video style editing that I normally do. My season also didn’t start until the end of December due to ACL surgery I had in July. After putting 20-30hours of work into this I got pretty burnt out so there are a few spots where the transitions don’t line up perfectly and the video kinda comes to an abrupt end. I just can’t stand to work on it any more so I thought I’d share what I have done. If it puts a smile on your face my work is done.

No skier/rider/photog credits at this time. You know who you are.

My acl was fine and I didn't start skiing until the end of december.

You need snow for that shit btw fyi.

Can't wait to get home and watch.

Just out of curiosity, you're not using premiere pro by any chance eh?

Put a smile on my face. Actually, that might have been the vocal stylings of Dee Snider.

    Nice work.

Loved the Bell Tolls synchronized. It’s cool how the snow is getting deeper on the videos as the season progresses. Noice work!

Love this! Thank you for taking the time. This board inspires me to document the days better via digital media. So tough to slow down and shoot though...

Never was a fan of that Metalica tune, but after watching that footage I have a new appreciation for the song. I liked the mix of stills with the video.

good shit. Did you mess with the colors on some of those photos? Some of the reds looked sick, almost pastel like.

Awesome! I especially liked how you saved the best snowboard shots for the face-melting guitar solo near the end

Thanks again all! Your replies definitely help the motivation to finish it.

There was a ton more skiing in the spring and summer and it would be a shame to not tell the rest of the season’s story.

    Kidwoo,
I use a shitty program called Ulead. Its ok but I think I’ve outgrown it.

    Jonnnya,
Do it man, they wont regret it if they like powdah!

    Mofro,
If Skyler ever rocks a mullet I’ll need you to kick my ass.

    Mc roon,
I think the pics you are referring to are the ones taken by wra and I believe they where adjusted (fairly heavily) in photoshop.

    Davep,
    Nice School of rock reference!
I did the video in chronological order as the season went on (kinda hard to edit to) and it just worked out that way. Glad ya liked it.
