For real, I would say anywhere on the west coast is cool. Portland is good if you're into city livin' somewhere around tahoe is good if you want to be near decent moutnains, and still have civilization. But I'd go with the recommendation to move somewhere warm and tropical untill the skiing legs are back.

I guess it depends on what you like to do with yourself when you're not skiing. How does easy want to spend his gimpy days?

Good to hear from you all. I appreciate all the suggestions. As for places to mend I sort of weeded out the warm places since P-tex pretty much spends his entire life praying for winter. As for where I'm headed I've got it narrowed down a bit. I'm thinking Durango, Bozeman, or Truckee/Reno. I just want a place with a kick ass ski resort, good backcountry, and maybe even a skiable lake nearby.
