    october powmag

shocked to see the october issue in the box today. i hadn't checked the po box since tuesday, so it could have arrived a few days ago.

wow...seems like things are running way early this year.

the cover picture from the "wasatch backcountry" is fantastic -- it's almost more of a couloir cover.

don't know what's in it; prolly won't read it for a while.

Sucks for those that didnt get sept yet. I got it 2 days ago, but it ships to my folks in England, who then had to forward it to me in Australia!

I have to point out that the September issue still hasn't appeared in Langley (BC) -- just like last year. Apparently Powder is too obscure for Canadian distributors (but I can buy Couloir and Rock&Ice almost anywhere).

I got my October issue yesterday, kinda funny because my september issue had that annoying paper cover marked "your last issue!" all over it. So did this one, and the twenty letters they sent. We'll see if november shows up or not.

I know my friend received his Powder September issue in Bromont (QC) a while ago. Also now someone in Quebec City that got hers also a few weeks ago.

I bought my issue at a store...
