Entry level computer tech job in bozeman

The company i work for is looking to hire a desktop support tech. this would be a great entry level job for someone looking to work in computers but who doesnt have experience or a college degree. a degree or tech school wouldnt hurt, but probably not necessary. the position would probably eventually get promoted up to our IS team.

basically, if you can install software on a windows system and handle basic network issues, can handle spending hours at a time on hold with HP tech support because a salesman spilled water into the keyboard of his laptop, can learn quickly (and don't ask the same dumb question twice), and don't know better than to avoid learning how to program the PBX, you are qualified for this job.

the main reason i am posting this here is because i was kind of stunned when i heard the pay rate (probably mid 30s to start, plus full benefits). also because i wouldnt mind seeing another skier in the shop (but note, this is full time 8 to 5 M-F job.)

and because they are starting to talk about teaching me how to program the PBX.

if you are interested, send me a PM.

    Any problems if I'm over-qualified?
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.
