    It's snowing here in Portillo....

4 cm in 3 hrs..... First time in a couple weeks I've been told. I guess the snow dance I've been doing the last couple days might have helped.

Just got here at 2pm today after almost 24hrs in transit. Hopefully it continues throughout the night.

TR to follow soon..... Arpa is calling on Sunday after Portillo. *I'll do my best to post a couple teasers in the meantime.

*Sorry, my narration skills are not nearly trayc's caliber so I might have to wait until I return to the States for a proper TR.

Sitting here at an internet cafe in Satiago. Portillo was soooo good. It snowed roughly 1 1/2 ft while we were there. An injury knocked me out the first day after about the 4th run. Visibility was so bad due to it snowing so hard. Hit a cat track going mach schnell without even knowing it was there. Self diagnosed a mild concusion even with a helmet on....In other words, I rung my bell pretty good.

Next morning it was bluebird with 1 1/2ft of fresh. Epic day....

Off to Arpa tomorrow morning. Word is the road has been closed to get up there and yesterdays and todays operations were cancelled. That means we will be the first to hit it tomorrow since the storm.

Pics to be posted upon return.

Hell yeah. It sounds like you're getting it. Post up some pics.

Once in the gondola I saw a dude maching towards a cat track in blind viz. He got seriously wrecked. He didn't move in the entire time he was in site. He must've bounced 50 feet.

Perdon my ignorance, but where is Arpa? (Is it La Parva???)

I blame your fab shirts. They are illegal in seventeen African nations so beware the walrus and don't feed the beers.

Here now in Los Andes at the Hacienda de Casa San Regis just outside of Arpa. We made it to Arpa this morning after about an hour of sleep partying in the Bella Vista barrio of Santiago last night. That place was INSANE....

Arrived at Arpa this morning and thankfully they had a broken down Cat. I say thankfully because I was in NO shape to charge today. Bella Vista kicked my ass last night and sleep was badly needed today. That place was nuts! Ive never seen so many people out and about partying and drinking till 6am in the morning. When in Rome....

About an hour tops was all the sleep I got last night. Once we got settled at the Hacienda, we all slept for about 4 hrs. It was badly needed. I will be fresh manana....

This place we are staying at is so fucking cool. Its a 300 year old Hacienda with so much old school charm and class its rediculous. The owners are so friendly and hospitable. A couple Brits and other Americans are heere also chompng at the bit to get on Arpa tomorrow. $72 a night gets you a room and three meals a day. Tonight we had salad, filet mignon, a couple bottles of a killer Cabernet and this delicous peach, cream and custard desert. I cant wait to see whats for breakfast tomorrow and what will be in my box lunch to bring to Arpa.

Pics will be coming soon. Just got a converter to use to charge my camera and laptop and will post a couple teasers. Reaktorcorps stickers have been posted in and around Portillo, Santiago and tomorrow Arpa. Helping the cause out....

Head feels so much better from my massive wipeout. Now it just hurts from all the Vodka and Aqua con Gas. I think Im gonna need a vacation from this vacation once I get back.
