    Haha, TO and Cowboys.

TO couldn't have picked a better team to go to. I love it! In other Iggles news; thank god they finally got a real wide receiver. Now if McNabb and Westbrook can just stay healthy.

Eagles Blog: Owens Has Excuses But May Get Benched

By Scott Bomboy , Managing Editor, NBC10.com

On Monday, former Eagles' receiver Terrell Owens tried to explain why he was fined for missing a rehab appointment.

"I just overslept," Owens told the Dallas Morning News and other media outlets.

"This is just unfortunate," Owens said. "I think everybody has overslept once or twice in their life before. Nothing intentional, it's just something that happened. And there's nothing I can do about it."

Owens then issued what amounted to an apology.

"It's unfortunate I got fined. I apologize to my teammates."

Coach Bill Parcells insisted to reporters that Owens hasn't been a problem at training camp.

The San Antonio Express said that Parcells also dropped a bombshell - Owens won't play in the Cowboys' opener if T.O. doesn't practice soon.

"A guy doesn't practice all the time and you think I'm just all of the sudden going to insert the guy in (a game) - with no practice?" Parcells said. "Are you out of your mind?"

When given that factoid by reporters, Owens had a response:

"If that's one of (Parcell's) rules, I have to abide by it. I can't combat it. If that's his rule, that's his rule."

But Owens had a parting comment that could be a preview of things to come.

“If I wasn’t hurt, it wouldn’t be a big deal. Injuries are part of football. I think it’s unfair that I’m getting all this criticism because I’m hurt.”

For Eagles' fans, it is déjà vu but at least the Owens soap opera will be in Texas this fall, not Philadelphia.

    TO is such a tool.

He would be so much more desirable if he lost the attitude.

That's how I felt when the Niners traded him; yeah he may be one of the best players in the game, but what a clown.

Yeah, It sucks that I have to root for him this year. I got him on my fantasy team and it was a late round and a good deal. At least he's fun to watch. But, what a fuckin drama queen.

    Wink

    Dear Jerry Jones:

Jerry I have a way for you to make your money back from TO's contract since it is obvious that Bill will not play him at all. Make him a "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader". He loves pom poms as we all know. So Imagine all of the posters you could sell of TO in the cheerleaders Halter top and short shorts to all of the Richard Simmons of the world.
