Well if they are poorly constructed AND you don't like them, sounds like you'll have no problem getting a new warrenteed pair to sell off.

Yeah--because everyone knows, the deeper the pow--the stiffer the ski should be. This ski is built for pow you oversized micro-machine. I for one, don't think I need boner city stiffness to rally. I'll give you my own personal review--when I stop by to collect the check from your mom. Oh wait--damn--line crossed. Too late.

since when is it foam cored?

What else is wrong with it, besides the lack of rivets (which you can fix yourself) and that it's cap, not sandwich?

griz, what kind of price didja get? I suppose it'd all depend on price.

I'd like a pair, but I'd also like to not spend more than 600 bucks on them. More like 4 or 5 hunski (new).

Your word isn't worth the hourly wage they pay in China.

Lotus's are great if you're a rich-type person who can afford them. You could pro-form 3 pairs of Pontoons, sell them, and buy a pair of Lotus's, if you were so inclined to fuck the system. Pontoon's are unique, and have the unique K2 "feel" to them, which is great if you happen to like soft and floppy. They're still better than Spatulas.

congrats, don't listen to these jack-asses you know you wanted them, you obviously weren't looking for advice on "toons vs spats vs yadda yadda" - enjoy them for what they are: a quiver ski for uber deep days!

LPH could let you know what to expect. He skied his Poons in Alaska in March and liked them. Of course, if he would have posted a TR by now (unless I missed it), you would have already known this.
