    Disapointment: In 'n' Out sucks.

No better than Burger King imo. Hit the one by LAX and one in Carlsbad: suxor city.

I must say that after years of hype I am very disappointed. "Five Guys" around here is way fucking better, including the fries which are night and day better at Five Guys.

    That is all.

Agreed, In n' Out's nothing special. But the hype's been going on for at least 30 years. Now Tommy's on Beverly and Rampart is the tits, IMHO.

There's an In 'n Out in Carlsbad? Damn, I need to get out more.

Yeah just off the 5 at the Palomar exit, next to Sammy's Pizza and Marie Callendars', right parallel to the highway.

Last week, Carlsbad was as far south as we got and that was mainly because my bud there took care of my kids for a couple days while me and the wife went to Catalina. I woulda given the heads up if we made it to S.D.

I live in North County, near Swamis, about 10 miles from Carlsbad.

Yeah, cool place, we took a jeep tour to see the interior a bit, that was cool but pricey. I even dug Avalon, despite the two brawls outside my hotel window the first night.

Catalina is indeed fun...been going out there since I was a kid. We used to sail out there from Santa Barbara->Rendondo->Avalon but then my uncle sold his sailboat. Last time I was there we got drunk and crashed a golf cart pretty bad in Hamilton Cove. Driver juked it too hard and fell out, we ghost rode into some bushes.

It's fun out there. I kinda prefer jungly islands more though. Thinking about going to Dominica for xmas.

In 'n Out: Everything sucks, but I crave it anyway. I don't like big burgers. Their buns are the best part I think. I always go animal style anyway and it's a sloppy mess.

this is the real 'in and out', Mark's In and Out in Livingston MT. They even still have rollerskating car hops on the weekend.

    That's a negatory, good buddy.

YC, it was a family trip and I sorta burned up my credits the first week (I'm looking at you Splat and Tresckow), so it was all on the dl.

I agree that In N'Out isn't all that. But as far as fast food chains go, it's just about the best. Comparing it to Burger King though is like saying a Salomon gaper rental ski is every bit as good as a pair of high end Volkls.

Five Guys have the best burgers. Simply unbelievable for something that is becoming a chain.

Nice Fez, that pic of Mark's In n' Out brought back memories of some very tasty burgers and corn dogs. My bud's family had a ranch out that way and we would eat there 2x/day at least on our way to/from Bozeman, Big Sky, et. al.

In-n-Out is better than all the other fast food chains in SoCal including booger king, but it is just that. A fast food chain. However if you are looking for a better burger experence I would suggest the real deal:
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.
