nasty bruise

i might take a pic tomorrow, but...

i was riding street; i fell on my side.

i was riding snowshoe with street tires, and i did the "big" drop in the park thang. i fell on my side again.

now i have a sweet bruise. however, i'm worried because theres a spot lacking in the normal bruise color. this spot is about the size of a dime, and a whitish yellow. it's not swollen up like pus, and it doesn't burn any more than a normal bruise.

there's also a "divot" above the bruise, where it feels all soft and squishy.

what the fuck did i do to myself?

Probably dug a rock in there and ripped up some fascia.

Nothing to worry about I think.


Better lance it just to be sure.

with moderate to severe contusions there can be a spot that turns white at the center.

If the bruise is over a normall bony area like your hip/pelvis bones an x-ray to rule out a chip fracture would be a good idea.
