    Utards - Tree Service recommendations?

There are one too many tree services out there for me to decide who gets to cut down the tree in my yard. It's a very big tree (dogwood) that must come down as it's rotting. Half of the top section fell down late last summer and almost took out our cars in the driveway. I climbed up into the tree and saw that it was rotting out where the limbs broke off. Since we've stripped the yard and are starting from scratch, we figured it was the best time to cut this thing down.

The rest of it we fear will come down on the house given the right amount of wind or snow.

I'd cut it myself if it weren't so close to the house (30 ft).

Any Utah maggots have a tree service they can recommend?

Are there any maggots that could fall that tree for ya, like Yetiman or one of the many forest fire people here? Granted they are all probably in the field currently.

With my degree in Forestry and the summer "work" I had to do, I took trees down directionally in the University forest all the time.

30 feet though, I am not gambling with your house.

Advice, find someone with LOTS of experience and LOTS of insurance.
