    Summer Vancouver TR

So work asked me if I wanted to go to the ASME PVP conference in Vancouver this summer. Thats how it all got started. I called a few friends and before you knew it we had a mt. bike trip planned and I was going to get free travel room and food. With the money I was sure to save I went out and bought a new toy to take along. After much debate I got a 6.6 and built it up with the parts off my bullit. Once the bike was together I took it for a test ride at Mt. creek's diablo freeride park.

It worked, so now it was on to vancouver. I got in a two on sunday and we were riding the shore by four.

The next day we went to seymor and got shuttled by a fellow maggot, thanks mr. trouble.

Vancouver is a rough place when the junkies need a fix

Once my work was done in the city we went to Whistler for crankworx
    John was peak'n

    Crankworx slopestyle was a show.

Of course we did some riding

Winter is always right around the corner

Next up the cut slopestyle at diablo sept 8-10.
    Harvest the ride.

Glad you guys had fun man, I figure if I can't ride I should at least try to make myself useful by driving. I seem to be pretty much healed now, think I might head into the interior at the end of this week.

Thanks again and stay safe so you can show me around when it snows.

    Excellent!!

If anything, I should've gone just to see you and your buddies ride. You know, in the places where my easy trails would intersect your not-so-easy trails.

Next time, you need to find a convention in the PNW during winter.

I'm working on getting a temperary assignment in seattle during the 2008 summer. Next summer I'll be in Idaho falls.
