Wow! That is up there with that Ferrari/Paris video.
sheet.
they took hatchback....and made it hatchback.

somebody else posted ghostrider clips here awhile ago, they're pretty insane. Watching a guy do wheelies away from 3 cops in beemers is relatively intense.
That is schweet, but the dude on the bike needs to learn how to shift.

Twin-cam much?? Torque peak on that bike is well north of 10K RPM..Originally Posted by Pow4Brains
That video rocks, great example of how superior (good) cars are in most cornering instances. It was pretty obvious that the goal wasn't to pass on the highway though, he had a couple chances to get by that he let slide.. The guy on the bike is known for mounting a rear-view camera and absolutely clowning the cops..
Something tells me that someone's done a little work to that bimmer though..
I was thinking the same thing, he was keeping the meat of the power but he was not smooth at all. I am not sure how that shows how superior cars are though, unless you ment compared to other cars because he could never drop the bike, yeah he could put a little time on but not enough to make a get away.Originally Posted by Pow4Brains

Those guys are total Jack offs, they are going to get someone killed. I see that shit all the time with these ricers down here, and it really pisses me off when they weave around me on the freeway like that.

it goes on.. Bimmer'd be making more time too if he'd quit showing off (drifting) and put some more power down; I'm guessing the car wasn't on r-compounds either, which would have made a big difference. He had chances to lose the bike on the highway (on the brakes) but the whole thing was obviously just a show..
Don't try this at home, kids.
I'm pretty sure that bike had a turbo on it. I thought I heard it spin up a couple of times. If it did, he would be running the gears differently from a non-turbo. Less shifting, leaving it in higher gears and letting the power build, etc.Originally Posted by Pow4Brains

Staged reality TV?
Nonetheless, I caught the bike speedo at, like, 256 at one point.
Which pins it at around 137 mph or so.
If that was a real cop and I wanted to shake him, I woulda tapped the brakes at a couple of those moments that were close.
^^^On one of his other films, his speedo hit's 299 and stops but the tac keeps climbing.
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.
The things you find on the net.
Different bike - this wasn't the Turbo 'Busa. Ghostrider (the Busa Rider) is in the car in this one. GOSH.
Like anyone can even know that.Originally Posted by phUnk

For sure, this guys are wenkers.![]()

There's a fuckload that you can do to an S54 - ask this guy about his motor (yeah, E36 chassis but the motor is a swap) and it's mostly internal, anybody could bolt on a charger and turn up the music:

Fucking car sounds like the worlds largest, most pissed off zipper..
Vic is active on bimmerforums and does awesome stuff. The S54 wasn't touched for the first few years of its life because they grenaded so often leading to a recall. Because of that many tuners thought it was about strung out as it could get from teh factory. The aftermarket tuning has only really gotten strong in teh past year and a half or so. Superchagers, tuning etc..

Pretty sure that car was super charged 2-3 years ago and then he pulled off the charger to take advantage of the minimum weight allowed for NA cars in Street Mod - maybe something happened in the aftermarket that prompted him to do that because the car wasn't slow at that point..Originally Posted by Theodore
I learned how to say "bimmer" while holding onto my nuts one day while skipping sideways at about 90mph in that car with Sean driving - crazy fast for an autox course (Castle AAX). Vic was pissed and Sean gave me nothing but shit for sliding in, but I know Vic's wife and she insisted![]()

Haha! That musta been a fun experience. You probably know 10x more about Vic's car than I, but in my defense of my point, Vic isn't your average tuner... the guys is a god with the Tec-3.

No, he's not your average tuner. That car only has to run for 6 minutes at a time and I've seen them push it off the course more than once, although it seems like it's the drivetrain that usually goes first. But there is more power to be made from an S54, even if it's from a blower and a little more fuel..Originally Posted by Theodore
I'm not a BMW geek and I don't really know much about that car but I think it eats kittens or something. I watched Elise disappear from sight over a small hill one day, car absolutely screaming at redline and then all of a sudden a cone shoots up about 20 feet in the air spinning like crazy, it was hilarious; they don't just hit cones in that thing, they fucking assassinate them. Car is a monster..
