    I got 6" today!

Of plush travel. I had to go to the fly fishing shop (which is next to the outdoor climbing/ski shop) and the bike store. (I call this area the 'Paycheck Bermuda Traingle' ) So I stuck my head in the bike shop and they just got in a new nomad and I was talking to owner about it and said I really want to try out a bike wih more travel then my Trance, so a Specialized enduro was thrust upon me to try out this weekend. Didn't have alot of time tonite so I stuck close to town and did a nice ride with 7 miles of fast downhill with some rocky sections. Damn is that bike sweet. Tommorow: Rock gardens, steep rocky downhills, and log jumps...Gonna catch the free weekend trolley and go from there....
What else is in the 6" freeridish class I should check out?

Anyone want to buy my Trance??

    Other bikes?

I ride a Santa Cruz Heckler coupled with a pike. At 5.6" all around it makes a pretty sweet trailbike, that holds up to some pretty aggressive downhill.

My buddy rented an Enduro SX Trail in whistler 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved it.

Did a ride in the Castle Mtns (white sulpher) today on my Ellsworth moment and was smiling the whole way. You can find them for less than the Nomad if you search. I've been really happy with mine. Built it up on the big side, but it climbs awsome and DH's just as good. I went down in travel from a SC bullit and have been much happier with fully active suspension. I did just see the Turner RFX on Beyond bikes for $1300 and some change. I hear it is also a great 6" bike.

Got some nice steep rocky downhill in yesterday, my god, the enduro was eating it up. Point it and go - it's kind of like the difference between some soft 180cm mid fats and some 188 stiff bros - just let the bike run and it'll do the rest.

Guess I need to start saving for a new bike for next year...
