When and where is Bush Protest?

Hey does anyone know when ( I think around Aug. 30th) the Salt Lake City protest against Bush will be ? Location ? Time ? It seems local papers have left this out ? Trib., Deseret fucking news, ect. The local news as normal is worthless. Any help would be great.

    Really.

Since you apparently need it spelled out. This took me about nine seconds:

Aug 30th (speaking outside in front of the venue: )

    http://www.slweekly.com/editorial/20...2006-08-17.cfm

+ timetable of events (9am-3pm on said date) :

    http://www.legion.org/?section=prog_...etingmatrix_06

(probably) = a damn good hint of where and when. Savvy?

Don't forget your birkenstocks. I hear the ones with the synthetic uppers are sooooooo fashionable right now.

Back to your regularly scheduled JONGing and douchebaggery.

It was actually in Jackson Hole, this morning. Only one person was there, but his message was concise and to the point.

Do it bro! It was so effective last year, Bush was seriously rattled.

The irony of last years protest hit me as kind of funny. Here are all these senior-citizen-type veterans that risked their lives for the country welcoming the President while outside are hippies that apparently don't even have jobs (yeah, I know stereotyping hippies as lazy is not cool) because they were able to spend their day standing around; protesting the President.

Atomicgray, if you want to really make a difference why don't you just go to work that day and donate the money you earn to a Presidential Candidate in2008 you support.

I think Atomic Grey is a freedom hater. He does realize that Bush is only doing the right thing. He is winning the war on terror with Jesus on his side... Wait, didnt they just detain some lady in London for trying to bring explosives into the US. But when the banner read "Mission Accomplished" I was sooooo excited! Wait you mean to tell me the insurgence has only gotten worse since the US presence in Iraq. There is a civil war breaking out? WOW Bush really SHOULDN'T be protested, he has only brought greatness to the world

I'll make sure to go to work today too.

No, I am sort of a moderate who is just getting a bit tired of the extremists on both sides of the fence. There are constructive ways to support your country.

You're right. Better to stand back and do absolutely nothing. Democracy at its finest.

This is what sucks about the internet. In my parents generation, they more or less shut down major thoroughfares in many war protests. I think it puts a real fear into our "leaders" when tens of thousands of young people make a scene.

But 30,000 people bitching on the internet is nothing at all.

I've always been of the opinion that protests alienate the people who's minds you're trying to change. "Forceful education" just doesn't stick so good.

Although, then can be amusing, like when Students Against Sweatshops locked them selves to the admin building front door with bike U-Locks aroudn their necks at my school.

You can have your own protest in your backyard wearing your Cindy Sheehan Underoos. I did not realize that there were ? Location ? Time ? to be a Bush basher why not go all the time.
BTW you should do something like frozenwater, he's driving around flipping off the VP or Funeral processions.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.
