Had west shore at kw go off just like that on me one day skiing with punani and cracker. Looking over my shoulder as I carved and seeing the fractures start and everything coming at me was almost a pants shitter. Poured down a funnel just like that.

Also shows the value of the buddy (cameraman) having stopped in an apparent island of safety, although it looked like he was just feet from the edge of the path.

I was skiing with a buddy at Wolf Creek inbounds a few years ago in the Waterfall area and was taking a picture of him and he tore a good-sized slab loose above me. I was in a terrible position, but fortunately only got burried up to my chest. Freaked me out. Definately a learning experience.
