    VIRUS NOTICE

Don't open any emails from buzzworthyski@yahoo.com. Looks like he's got a virus.

That'd be my guess, since it has happened here before. Buzz just asked me to post it, so I did.

That's what you get for hanging around with a bunch of Maggots - infected!

    Angry

This just came out from my IT department:

There is a new fast moving e-mail virus loose on the Internet this afternoon. McAfee has named it W32/Mydoom@MM, and it arrives in e-mails with various subject lines, most of which seem to be "Hi," or "Hello," or "Test". The viral attachment usually has a short name with an SCR, EXE, BAT, PIF, or ZIP extension, and early indications are that it doesn't run automatically when the e-mail is opened. We have blocked hundreds of these since they started arriving at around noon, but have had one report of one of the messages getting through, so be extremely careful, both here, and when you get home this evening.

    Thumbs up

My puter is now clean, FYI. Our work got it and spread so fast. Some were getting emails with .zip and .pif from their own e addys, crazy.

We now do not open attachment from ANYONE, until we call that person and find out if they actually meant to send it, even in house.

Just a reminder that if you're using Outlook it's a good idea to set it up with the preview pane off. That way you can delete any suspicious emails without ever opening them.
