posidrive screwdriver doesn't fit solly toe wings

Never had this happen before...but I went to remove a pair of 997Equipes from some skis and my trusty #3 Posidrive screwdriver doesn't fit through the holes in the toe wings.

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you just use a regular screwdriver? Do you use an extended Pozidrive drill bit?

I have the extended Pozidrive drill bit and it has always worked for me.

I guess I tend to do things by hand (esp installing binding screws)...but maybe I need to cave an pony up the $$ on this one.

Don't want to order it separately from Tognar....guess I'll just have to table the project until I place a bigger order with 'em. Thanks!

davep--looks like the lower bit is about 2.5" or so, right? I think the top one is 6".

You can use a 1/4" or 5/16" nut driver to place the bit in if you still want to do it by hand.

UAN, if you are in a rush I could probably "borrow" a long bit from my old shop and loan it to you. PM me

I think its 2.75" iirc, long enough for any binding ive tried so far. like P4B said, you dont need to use a power tool with it, I use it with a little no-name hand ratchet, a bit like this

(best free gift ever for signing up for a checking account!!).

i'm also afraid to use a power driver on my skis.
