Hmmm.....after I read this I opened the User CP, clicked on Edit Options, and found in the Private Messaging section that these options were turned off, so I clicked the box and they worked. I suppose you guys already tried this, but if not.......

Yep, checked those. I do get the pop-up on PM's. Just not the email. I had checked this a while ago.

I have done nothing.... again.... but i now... once again... am receiving emails re: thread reponses. I have not received emails re: pms for quite awhile, so therefore they sit unnoticed.. sometimes. All the correct boxes are checked and submitted.

Train07- you were set to automatic thread subscription. I turned this off for you. In order to turn off this feature:

    1. Go to User Control Panel (UserCP in the top forum navigation)
    2. "Edit Options"
    3. Default Thread Subscription Mode -> No Email Notification.
    4. SAVE

thanks for the fondling webguy...i wasn't complaining about the emails re; thread responses (which i am still getting) but I wanted to continue getting emails for pms sent....which is now working.
as long as we have your attention, how bout the proximity of the pull downs being too close to the thread titles? is that your dept?
