Off to vegas....

Well the parental units are coming to D-town to watch the wee one while the wife and I are running off to Vegas for the first time EVER. Staying at the Luxor for 2 nights. Pretty psyched as this coincides with some good friends going to Vegas for a Bachelor party. Yeah I know, wife and bachelor party don't mix, apparently you don't know my wife or my friends. They are psyched she'll be there. We'll be hanging with them for the party part, not so much the strip club part. Probably would if I wasn't so broke. Turns out they might not be hitting the stip clubs so much, as they are staying in a house near the strip with a pool, nice rooms, stripper pole and 2 strippers for the weekend. Yes, they have procured the services of 2 wonderful ladies to accompany them on their vegas rampage. I am sure my wife will get drunk and say something wonderfully inappropriate, like "how do you sleep at night...whore?"

Hilarious! I just got back from my free Vegas trip- and I'm STILL recovering 3 days later!

If you're going out to any clubs, be sure to get there early, otherwise you'll be spending your entire night waiting in line. We got VIP treatment at Jet nightclub at the Mirage (long story) and had a really awesome time. Otherwise, in the daytime if you feel like leaving your bachelor buddies for a bit, the Flamingo hotel/casino has 5 swimming pools (all free, they provide free towels too) that you can hang out at, with a dj playing and 2 for 1 drink deals between 4 and 8pm. Don't take a lot of clothes though- it's effing HOT there right now!

Nice, have a good time. I stayed at the Luxor too my first and only time last year there. The Mexican restaurant up on the second floor makes a huge killer marg. It is expensive, like everything there, but will knock you for a loop.
