    Flex question

In the recommended ski thread, as well as several others, the stiffness of skis is rated between 200 and 300.

I tried to search, but after scanning the first 200 threads of 500 that popped up I could not find out what this number exactly meant.

Does anyone know if there are any units to it or how it is measured?

Yea, I tried doing a search of the Iggy flex and only this thread and 2 others came back.

I was trying to quantify the number in some way, like a spring constant.
