Why can't I see my local office network (Win XP)?

I use my laptop with Windows XP (have pity) and sometimes I can't see our local office network. I try to use Windows Help (more pity) and it always wants to set me up with a fucking wizard. Fuck.

Where do I go to change the settings so I can see the files on the network?

You might have to map to the drive to see files on it. Right click the start button, go to explore, tools drop down, choose map network drive. It should walk you through. Anymore than that and I don't know.

FKNA, that worked. Makes it a lot faster, too. Thanks!
