    Hi kids!
my 1976 town& country finaly gave up and shit the bed.
So, since I have been out of the loop on modern shapes....(this is where you come in) I am looking for a new ride.
About my self, I am 195lbs 6'1" east coast surfer.
mostly surf N.J. manasquan. but thke trips up north and three times a year down to fla.
Im looking for a fun board, a fish shape comes to mind (due to my old age)
my budget is in the $500.00 range.
i need help with some EC glasseres and shapers , got any links 4 me to check out?
    thanks mucho, in advance!

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

for that money you should probably be able to find what you want new unless it's a big longboard. i'd suggest checking out whatever shapers are in your area - support the LBS! (local board shop)

your shape depends on what you intend to ride (most of the time). obviously one size does not fit all. manasquan is quite different from fl beachbreak. manasquan would get good use of a board for hollow waves when it's on, but a nice longboard would be fun on smaller days. in FL, you might want a fish shape for the smaller sloppier waves that are common.
