    WTB: Suction Cup Tuning Vise

Hopefully, this doesn't get discussed every day; and I reviewed a thread Clack started on vices this past winter, but it didn't have one that latches onto the topsheet with suction cups and will clamp on a bench. Hookers are too expensive. It's for skis without bindings. There might be another apparatus that would do that, but it has to attach to the topsheet upside down. I want it on hand to trim freshly pressed skis with a jig saw in case our bandsaw goes down, maybe for cutting tips and tails, which wears bandsaw blades fairly fast if you don't use a very even hand doing it.

Use an old ski base-side up for the template.
Cool idea. Might have to go that way.

danadog - sounds eggsackly what I'm looking for.
In my spare time, I can use them to scale tall glass buildings.
