Nicely put. I wouldn't care how someone went about improving their performance, as long as they work for it. Train high, recover low? I you've got the time and $$$, more power to you. Silly tents? Whatever.

Training is a part of the process and is the limiting factor so many racers and aspiring racers. Be all that you can be, first and foremost, and you'll see continued improvement for years. Lance Armstrong took training to a level never seen in the peloton. Lance came back and dominated when the Frenchies and other Euros were training the same as they had for 20 years. "Hey knuckleheads, it's not a job, it's a way of life."

Heh, I knew a guy who talked of getting a hypobaric tent many years ago for preparation for Leadville and some Himalayan races he was planning on. I was like, Dood, you may be aclimated, but you're still going to be slow.

Thanks for the personal attack! For the record, I was going to highlight the findings of synthetic seem to be largely rumor, but I forgot. Then again, there is so little fact in any of this who knows what's true. I do think the whole situation is BS, especially with the lab leaking info to the media. I've been trying to keep an open mind about this. Hence, my original post. It seems to me that something doesn't add up. Until they do, I'm going to keep an open mind.

Well, I/we did. (like I did about WMD )

Are you saying these tests are not conclusive?
Pleeeeaaaaase. Even the US stopped looking already.

Landis can live on the placing of a question mark,
but at this point it is up to him to prove his innocence.
    Or admit his error.

    Thanks for that info.

I could be wrong, but IMVHO, I think some people in are denial. He is busted, it is pretty close to over, and if the leak regarding the synthetic testosterone proves to be false, I will be very surprised.

Well, Dr. Sanjay Gupta said Floyd is full o shit and the second test for the synthetic T is extremely accurate. Who am I to doubt Dr. Gupta. Who am I to question CNN.

I maintain my reasoning for Landis' high testo levels.

Anyone else wonder what Tyler has to say about all this?

And yet you didn't. For the record I was going to not go into what people doing what you're doing create but then I did. Doesn't really mean much does it?

As for personal attack, you offered 3 points all assuming the innuendo and gossip is true without real proof or protocal followed. As TeleAl points out that game has been played with WMDs and that hasn't and still isn't going particularly well. I pointed out the problem with that approach and those who use it such as yourself. A personal attack would be more like pointing out you're starting to sound like a whiny little bitch which would be more personal albeit still accurate

Although it's true that the Director Sportif's suspended the riders I think it's clear that was under duress. So saying the drug police suspended isn't totally accurate it's still fair to say the drug police caused them to be suspended with only innuendo and gossip.

Landis is no sack of shit... he's all balls baby!

I can see why everyone's so upset, to have to US be once again scorn by the rest of the sports world, but we're overlooking a major point. I raced for years and actually had the chance to meet Floyd, and he's a really cool, down-to-earth kinda guy. But, in light of recent events, I have to break my sworn secrecy with him and share a very important fact that he confided in me. I'm sorry Floyd, but the truth need to come out:

Floyd has to jerk off at least 10 times per day.

Aw damn it all, but it's true. See Floyd's testicals are actually four-to-five sizes larger than the normal male's, like baked potatos or ostrich eggs. Now I'm no homo, but I caught a glimpse of his bike shorts, and believe me, I'm surprised he doesn't ride on a sofa cushion with those things. Watch the slow-mo on OLN.

Now his penis is actually only four and a half inches long, erect, but nonetheless, he told me with balls that big, he has to jerk off constantly in order to wear normal, human underpants, let alone bike shorts.

Just think for a second what that would be like. Huh? Feel his pain? Now put yourself in his shoes and think of losing one of the biggest stages of your life in the tour. You're up on top, then you hit the wall. You're beat. You've been up all night jerking it and the loss of sleep has made you weak. You're losing seconds. You go from first all the was down to a few minutes back over the corse of a few miles. Man, poor me. Nay, I say poor Floyd.

See after that stage, Floyd wasn't pissed, no, he was sad. He went into his trailer and cried. He put his face under his pillow and let all his emotions pour out. Yes folks, he was sad, so sad in fact that he didn't even feel like jerking it that night, something with which he has had to do many, many times, every day, his whole life. Now that's sadness if I've ever known it.

Well as Floyd slept that saddened night, on tear-soaked pillow, and emotionally he drained, but psyiologically he was charging up. His balls swelled to their full four-to-five times the normal human size, and of corse, so did his testosterone level (this isn't rocket science France). When he awoke that next morning, he shot out of bed with new vigor. He burst out of his trailor as fast as he could and jumped on his bike and pedalled to the finish. And you know why he went so fast? It wasn't the tour, it wasn't to prove himself, it wasn't drugs. No, it was because his balls were swollen, and that big, that means he gets four-to-five times the blueballs that every other blue blooded American gets, and that's pain. He just wanted to finish the race and jerk it one more time, for his balls, for America, for you and me.

Sad story, I know, and he gets busted for doping because he couldn't even wait until after the pee test to let it out. That's why his levels were so high, he nutted in their cup, and being French they just said, "Oh, it's so creamy, he musht be dehydrated." Well no. That's his fry sauce bitches. Test it twice why don't ya?

Don't hate a champion for his krytonite alien thunder balls.

Sorry I left something out. Next time I'll write you a fucking thesis.

You missed the point of my op and instead seem content on being a prick.

There's a good article on sports over at ESPN. A few lines down...

"We believe 150-pound Floyd Landis was on the juice but 260-pound NFL players with 33-inch waists who can bench-press 350 pounds and run 4.5 40s are completely clean."

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...t&lid=tab5pos1
"I knew in an instant that the three dollars I had spent on wine would not go to waste."
