    temps

a low of -6 celcius in lake louise forcasted tonight. That's at about 1400 or 1500m.. so thats a little less than -15 or so at 3000 m? Winter is slowly strengthening it's stranglehold on this annoying time called summer.

It was snowing on top of mount shark (2780m) on monday when I was there. Mind you, pretty light flurries. 4 out of 6 of the lows in the long range forcast for lake louise are below 0. Winter really comes early up here... Banff is actually usually much warmer than lake louise (probably upwards of 5 deg celcius).. I wonder why that is, when they're only 1/2 hour drive apart. I saw an emergency weather notice on TV yesterday, they were predicting golf ball sized hail in banff yesterday. That's pretty cool. Does anyone know if they got it in the end?
