So, I need to write 5 theses statements on what ever I want. But all I can think about is the skiing. What are some ideas on what I could write? I can’t write on abortion or gun control.

1. Eviormental impact on wildlife from ski areas in national park lands. Mostly from added expasion of new terrain with the new open access to the backcountry

2. Ecomonic policys Mega Ski Resort Company's have. Both good and bad. And how they effect the local economy/business's

3. Drug testing and safety issues. Do drug testing of mtn employees truly reduce work related accidents.

4. Which dept of employess at ski resorts have the most employee retention. And how are they able to ecomomically survive at a resort with fixed wages

5. Who throws the best parties. Instructors, Patrol, or lifties

Hey MOE. You can get most of the data from the GAO (Gov't accounting office). The have the data on most any thesis topic you can think of. Research papers galore. They should have everything you need because mose ski areas are located on National Forest land.

excellent topic...and i agree, it doesnt make sense because if u want to backcountry ski the same land u dont get into any trouble.

You should be able to find plenty to talk about in the two excellent posts by Walter and Ted.

Should that fail, I suggest that you write about abortion and gun control, from what I imagine you would consider to be a "devil's advocate" position.

Some people favor gun control and do not want the government involved in their procreative decisions. Attempt to see the world from their viewpoint.

You might learn something.

(You might also get in trouble, considering where you live, but that's the beauty of it. Fight the power, brother.)
