Well we just got back from the summit and all I have to say is "siiiiick"

Nobody showed up for friday. So nobody ahs wny thing to report. We showed up on friday at about 7:30pm, a little late and fully expecting to meet up with some maggots in the T-Bar pub. After some pretty intersting responses, and weird looks too, for "change for a nickle" I came to the conclusion that we where the first ones there. Got the keys for the condo and just finished bringing shit up from the car when Bman and his two amigos showed up at which point much drinking and debauchery ensued. Many beers, a bottle of Jagermeister and some fruity shit Doug_W showed up in the T-Bar and more drinking ensued. At this point I smoked my first joint in about 2 years and the rest of the night gets a little blurry so some else will have to fill in the blanks.

We woke up in the morning to fresh pow and lots and lots of fog. But the snow was sweet. I was so hung over from the night before that I would stop and feel like I was still moving which lead to spinning world and some violent puking. Had to go back to bed untill 11am but fealt great after that. Lots of fress turns and good times where had by all. At the end of the day it was still snowing fairly hard and continued into the night.

We woke up sunday morning to just enough fresh to fill in everything from saturday plus a little more. Myself, Doug_W and Brad got after it with five hard fast runs in the 1st hour. At 10am we all hooked up at the bottom of the red chair for change for a nickle. We where planning on meeting up with playharder, 2stix, et al. But nobody showed up by 10:25 and there was powder to be had so we got after it some more and never managed to hook up with anybody else. We skied till we couldn't feel our legs any more packed it up and headed for home.

Sounds like a good time. I'll have to check out the next summit in the area.

I spent saturday out in Fernie ripping up the fresh powder. Great turns were had all day. It's looking good for the next few days out there as well. Can't wait to get back out in it.

So sorry I didn't meet up with you all on Sunday

My timing for being at the wrong place at the right time seems to be going well

I was there though, the guy with the helmet cam. I wore it for the first 2 SIIIIIICCCKKKK runs, then ditched the weight and went straight to fly light mode with a camera only.

All I can say about the day was 2 things

1: Man was it cold! I'm breaking in some new boots and I thought i was gonna loose a toe for sure!

2: The snow! Man it was SSOOOO light and dry! About an average of a foot deep everywhere, with pockets here and there almost waist deep!

But talk about angel dust powder! Ususally there is wind at castle settling the snow out, but there was no wind and the snow stayed amazingly light.

I don't have my helmet cam footage ready yet (any hints on a server to host the video files?)
But I did manage to pop off a few photos during the day!
